HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I pray you have a wonderful 2012. We have an exciting year in programs coming up! At the Guild meeting on January 16, Tana Mueller, from Crowley, will present our program. Tana is the designer and teacher of the techniques used in Joy Kelly’s quilt which won a blue ribbon I our Quilt Show in October 2011. This quilt has multiple techniques in it that we will hear about in the lecture. Tana specializes in appliqué and artwork techniques.Tana is bringing one of her patterns that normal sells for $12.95 and is offering it to us for $5.95 on the night

February—Paula Barnes will be our presenter at the guild meeting on Monday night, February 20th. She will be giving a workshop on the SATURDAY BEFORE our guild meeting, on January 18th. Paula specializes in Civil War quilts. The workshop is $30, payable at sign-up, and I have 16 already signed up and paid. If you are interested, I will be taking ign-ups at the January guild meeting or if you want to secure a spot before that, give me a call and we can work out the details. 817-573-4984.
